Timelines vary depending on the scope and finishes, but here’s a general guide once on-site works begin:
  • Basic Kitchen (e.g. Melamine cabinets, laminate benchtop, tiled splashback): 2–3 weeks
  • Mid-Range Kitchen (e.g. Featured melamine cabinets, stone benchtop, tiled splashback): 3–4 weeks
  • Custom Kitchen (e.g. 2-pack profile cabinetry, stone benchtop, glass splashback): 4–6 weeks
No, your kitchen will be out of action during for the duration of the renovation. A microwave and prepared meals always go a long way during a renovation!
Yes, if you wish to visualise the space before work begins, our talented design team can help plan the layout, select materials, and guide you on finishes and appliances. You’ll get 3D visuals so you can preview the kitchen after you appoint us to complete the renovation for you, but before work begins. 
Absolutely. This is actually the most common pre-sale renovation type. When the current layout works well, we simply refresh your kitchen with new cabinetry doors and panels, benchtops, splashbacks and finishes. This often comes at a lower cost and with less disruption than a full redesign.
Yes. You’re welcome to purchase your own appliances, fittings, and finishes. We’ll provide a checklist and schedule so you know what’s needed and when. We’re also happy to recommend trusted suppliers if you’d like help choosing.
We use quality materials from all the major brands including Laminex, Polytec, and Formica so you’ll have a wide range of colours, textures, and finishes to choose from. For stone benchtops, we work with many brands such as Caesarstone, Smartstone and Inifnity, and can work with any stone supplier you prefer.
At Kudo Homes, we specialise in making the most of smaller or awkward spaces with clever storage, improved flow, and functional upgrades that make your kitchen feel bigger, work better, and look amazing – all the things that attract buyers who’ll pay more.
No. Keep in mind however that your kitchen would not be usable, and the kitchen area would not be accessible. If the kitchen is your only cooking area, we recommend planning meals ahead for microwaving while the space is offline.
