Design Services & Revisions Policy
Applies per room and activates after your second revision
At Kudo Homes, our goal is to make your design journey simple, transparent, and enjoyable. To achieve this, we’ve outlined what’s included in your design package, how revisions work, and how additional services are handled if you’d like to explore options beyond the original scope.
This design package policy ensures we can deliver a high-quality final design while keeping timelines on track. It also gives you clarity upfront about costs, inclusions, and responsibilities, so there are no surprises along the way.

What’s Included in Your Design Package
- Up to two (2) rounds of revisions per room
- Each revision round includes one batch of feedback (please submit all requested changes at once)

Additional Revisions & Services
If you’d like more changes after your two included revision rounds, we’re happy to help. Further requests will be billed as follows:
Minor Changes – $71.50 per batch (up to 4 Minor changes)
Examples include:
- Moving fixtures or fittings (e.g. towel rails, tapware).
- Simple colour or material swaps that don’t affect the overall design balance.
These are quick, surface-level updates that don’t require structural redraws.
Major Changes – $143/hr inc. GST (minimum 2 hours)
Applies when requests involve:
- Layout adjustments (cabinets, doors, windows, appliances).
- Structural changes (e.g. relocating openings or walls).
- Joinery redesign (cabinetry layouts, shelving, or new shapes).
- Tile type or size changes requiring redraws.
Bespoke Design Services – $143/hr inc. GST (billed in 15-min increments)
For when you’d like something extra special:
- Product selection beyond our curated ranges.
- Custom tile layouts, moodboards, or finishes curation.
- Supplier liaison or specialty sourcing.
- One-on-one design support (Zoom consults, showroom visits, etc.).

Important Notes
- Per Room Basis: Charges apply individually per room, only for changes beyond your two included revisions.
- Billing Time: Any additional work will be quoted, with payment required upfront.
- Timelines: Larger changes may affect design delivery dates.

Scope Limitation
This design package policy applies per room. Adding new areas (e.g. kitchen, ensuite, laundry) is treated as a new design scope and may require a separate quote or agreement.

Design Hold or Delay
If your design project is paused for more than 30 days, we may need to reassess availability, pricing, and direction. A re-engagement fee may apply.

Design Ownership
All designs, drawings, and moodboards remain the sole property of Kudo Homes until full payment is received. They cannot be used for construction, reproduction, or distribution without written approval.
Kudo Homes forever reserves the right to use all designs we create as we see fit in any capacity we decide.

Third-Party Responsibility
Kudo Homes is not responsible for final measurements, fit, or compatibility of products selected by the client or sourced externally. We recommend confirming all selections with your appointed trade professional.

Feedback & Communication
All feedback must be provided in writing (via email or shared document). To keep things clear and efficient, please submit all requested changes together in each revision round.

Version Control & Updates
Kudo Homes may update these design terms, services, or pricing at any time. The version in effect at the time of your agreement or acceptance will apply to your project. Please review the latest version before approving additional works.

Most will find perfection with our Core Design package. It’s more than enough. But if you want to explore even more, this package lets you do just that.
Major Changes
Never needed but here for you
MINIMUM 2 HRS
$143
per hour. incl. GST
- Major revisions to your Core Design
Designed for major reworks, like if your vision shifts gear and you’d like to explore more options to your core design for whatever reason.
