Prepared for sale while the owners lived interstate.
Kudo Homes worked with interstate owners to prepare this dated Melbourne home for sale. They couldn’t be there to find trades, compare quotes or check the work, so we planned the work, brought in the trades and ran the job from start to finish, keeping them updated from afar.
Interior Upgrades
The interiors were modernised with new carpet, timber-look laminate flooring, and a complete repaint. Key updates included:
Flooring:
Timber-look laminate in all living areas (Clix, Acacia CFX026, 7mm)
Plush carpets in bedrooms, study, and family room (Classic Flooring Noble, Amorian 1553)
Window Furnishings:
Double block-out blinds in the master, study, kitchen & main bathroom (Jubilee Fossil)
Single block roller blinds elsewhere (Jubilee Fossil)
Kitchen:
A clean, modern refresh enhanced the space with light, simplicity, and functionality, balancing style and practicality for modern buyers
Bathrooms:
Both the main bathroom and ensuite were given full makeovers:
New benchtops with stone-look finishes
Fresh tapware, vanities, and shower screens
Painted tiles and updated fittings for a clean, cohesive look
New tiled floor in the main bathroom
Staging:
Every room was professionally styled to highlight space, function, and flow, ensuring maximum appeal
Exterior Enhancements
To elevate curb appeal, we revamped the landscaping and cleaned up outdoor areas:
Trimmed trees, removed rubbish, and refreshed garden beds
Black mulch and Utopia stone added contrast and texture
River rocks and a treated pine garden bed frame modernised the look
Gutter, garage door, and garden bed painted to match
White sand used to revive the garden fountain

We focus on what buyers notice in photos and at inspections, and we tell you what isn’t worth doing. We plan the work, bring in trusted trades and keep it on track, so you don’t have to manage it yourself.
Can I pay from the sale?
We can refer you to a specialist finance provider, with no repayments for the first 6 months. Approval and terms are set by the provider. The amount is repaid, and fees or interest may apply.
Who do I pay?
You pay our fixed fee to Kudo Homes, and you pay each trade directly for their work.
Can I use my own trades?
Yes. Most clients use ours because we’ve worked with them for years, but you’re free to use your own.
Do I get a say in the work that gets done?
Yes. It’s your property, and every decision is yours.
We recommend what’s worth doing for buyers in today’s market, show you the trade quotes, and only go ahead with the work you approve.
Will it be ready when my home goes on the market?
We plan everything back from the date your home goes on the market, and only recommend work that fits the time you have.
Does Kudo Homes work on investment properties?
