Rental Renovation in Seaford Restores Damaged Investment Property

Kudo Homes was engaged by property investors in Seaford, on Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula, to restore a severely damaged rental. After the previous tenants left behind ruined walls, stained carpets, and broken appliances, the property needed serious attention.

The owners planned to hold the property for a few more years before selling and wanted to bring it back to an as-new condition while keeping costs low. We delivered a budget-conscious renovation that revitalised the home and boosted its rental appeal while laying the groundwork for future capital gain.

Key Upgrades:

Full interior repaint

New flooring throughout

Updated lighting

We offer tailored quotes to suit all budgets, giving our clients full transparency and control over their renovation spend.

Kitchen

The kitchen was in poor condition with minimal storage, so we refreshed it within a tight budget to improve functionality and appeal for new tenants.

Lounge

This tired space needed a full refresh—and we delivered. With updated finishes and clever staging, it now feels warm, clean, and inviting.

Bathroom

A full bathroom renovation wasn’t in the budget, so we used smart, low-cost design tricks to modernise the space. The result? A functional, fresh bathroom that looks far more expensive than it is.

Wardrobes

The original single-shelf wardrobes were beyond repair. We replaced them with custom cabinetry, featuring:

Adjustable shelving

Hanging space

Storage baskets

Bulkheads for a clean built-in look

These upgrades maximised usability and added value for future tenants and potential buyers alike.
