Our Story
Kudo Homes has been preparing Melbourne properties since 2018, with more than 200 renovation jobs, big and small. Along the way we saw that most owners getting ready to sell don’t need a builder. They need someone who knows what’s worth doing, has trades they can trust, and will manage the job so they don’t have to.
That’s what we do. Every job is overseen by a registered domestic builder, so we know what good work looks like and what it should cost. For refresh work, you see every quote and pay the trades directly, and our fee is fixed.
You’ll have one project manager from the first walk-through to the final check, backed by trades we’ve worked with for years: painters, floorers, carpenters, plumbers, electricians and more.
We’re based in Keysborough and work across Melbourne.

What is pre-sale preparation?
Pre-sale preparation means getting your property ready for the market with the right work, such as painting, flooring, repairs and kitchen or bathroom refreshes. It’s a refresh, not a renovation.
We focus on what buyers notice in photos and at inspections, and we tell you what isn’t worth doing. We plan the work, bring in trusted trades and keep it on track, so you don’t have to manage it yourself.
Can I pay from the sale?
We can refer you to a specialist finance provider, with no repayments for the first 6 months. Approval and terms are set by the provider. The amount is repaid, and fees or interest may apply.
Who do I pay?
You pay our fixed fee to Kudo Homes, and you pay each trade directly for their work.
Can I use my own trades?
Yes. Most clients use ours because we’ve worked with them for years, but you’re free to use your own.
Do I get a say in the work that gets done?
Yes. It’s your property, and every decision is yours.
We recommend what’s worth doing for buyers in today’s market, show you the trade quotes, and only go ahead with the work you approve.
Will it be ready when my home goes on the market?
We plan everything back from the date your home goes on the market, and only recommend work that fits the time you have.
Does Kudo Homes work on investment properties?
Yes. We work with owners preparing any property for sale, including investment properties.
