What Is The Kudo “Renovate to Sell”?
Renovate to Sell & Pay Later is offered by Kudo Homes as a service designed to increase a property’s sale price by completing key home improvements before it goes to market with no upfront payment required. It’s designed as a win-win for both vendors and their agent as they both benefit from the increased value of the property.
At Kudo, we manage the entire renovation process and the vendor only pays after the property sells.

Our Renovate to Sell Process
1Agent Introduction
Most agents will suggest some light improvements to the vendors before listing. Once you’ve had that conversation, simply share our contact details with your client and invite them to book a free onsite consolation and quote.
→ To secure your referral, simply complete the Agent Referral Form and we’ll take care of the rest once the owner has scheduled a booking
2Onsite Inspection & Quote
Once the vendor schedules a booking, we’ll meet the vendor at the property, assess what’s needed, and tailor a renovation plan based on the budget they’re comfortable investing.
→ Our suggestions align with your sales strategy, focusing on high-impact improvements that will make a difference on the market.
3Payment Option Selected
The vendor chooses how they’d like to pay:
- Standard progress payments, or
- Pay Later through our finance partner (approval usually takes 48 hours once documents are provided).
→ Either way, the process is simple, transparent, and low-stress for everyone involved.
4Renovation
→ Our team is structured for fast, professional delivery, with most projects completed in 2–4 weeks so you can hit the market quickly.
5Payment Is Made
If the vendor chose to pay in instalments during the renovation, the final payment is due on completion.
If they chose our Pay Later payment option, the amount is paid at settlement.
→ The most popular option – Pay Later – means that the trades get paid when they do the job, but the vendor doesn’t pay until settlement.
